Yesterday's servers crash took the whole team by surprise. Our specialists managed to quickly identify the cause, but it did not please us at all, as we realized that we were got attacked, and we, I confess, were unprepared for it. Let's face it - I was just fucking shocked when I was told about what happened. Attackers managed to gain access to virtual machines, where the game servers and the project database are located, which were subsequently deleted without the possibility of restoring.

 

Unfortunately, the actions of the motherfuckers caused not so much harm to the project, as to you - our players. After all, your time and efforts can not be returned in the same way as the server can be reinstalled and connected to a new database.

We are well aware that such a fail in the midst of successful start can greatly affect the reputation of the project. But we are confident in our strength and are ready take the brunt to show competitors how much their attempts to ruin Averia are worthless and useless.

 

Today, after the general conference of our team we will announce the final decision on compensation to the players and our further actions.

 

Realizing the gravity of the situation, we understand that you have something to say. Therefore, the moderation in this topic will be limited, but to a reasonable extent.

I would like to answer the questions that were asked more often than others.

 

 

Relatively new team members and suspicions against them. We ruled out a possibility that that could happen for feveral reasons, and one of them - none of the new employees had any access, except the forum. We believe that this is not a simple leak of accesses, since the level at which the hacking was pulled off all was very high. Perhaps it was organized by our competitors. After all, we quite seriously announced our plans and intentions for the near future. This could scare other teams.

 

About the refund. As already mentioned above, we will discuss the issue today. I assure you that we will find the best option for players.
